Seminole just hit the Jackpot with Osaka Sushi & Thai now open. Previously located on Madeira Beach. This restaurant is going to be a hit. Upon entering Osaka, the first thing you notice is the atmosphere in the air. It’s an upscale and modern looking place with contemporary decor. The next thing you notice is the huge sushi bar that seems to be inviting you in. Like a mythological siren calling you summoning you forth to try all the fish of the sea. And when I say “all the fish”, I mean that the menu here is seriously extensive.
We had some sushi before dinner. Dynamite California roll topped with tuna, salmon, escolar mixed with spicy mayo, scallion, and fish eggs. Volcano California Roll topped with baked salmon, escolar, white tuna, yellow tail with spicy mayo, honda sauce mixed with scallions and fish eggs. Japanese Bagel Roll with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and cucumber. Then for dinner we had Teriyaki Grilled Chicken with sides of steamed vegetables and steamed rice.
Also, the Sauteed chicken with an amazing peanut sauce served with sides of scallion, onion, broccoli, cabbage and carrots. Lastly (but not leastly), Stir Fried Ramen Noodles cooked japanese style and served with a side of green cabbage, broccoli, carrots, and dried seaweed.
Everything looks so truly delicious that I wouldn’t blame you for getting down to grubbing right away, but try to take a moment to appreciate how amazing everything looks. Osaka’s presentation is on point, but once you start eating, you’re not going to want to stop and appreciate anything, because the flavors are so enticing that we basically didn’t stop eating until there was no more food.
No wonder the ambiance in here is quiet and peaceful, everyone’s too busy stuffing their faces to even bother with chit chat.
With all of that being said, Osaka is truly the definition of a restaurant experience that’s “Worth It!”
