E & E Stakeout Grille

The atmosphere in E & E Stakeout Grill can only be described as “Lovely”. Okay, that’s not true- because I’m about to describe it more- but trust me when i say that lovely is an apt summary.

When you walk in, the light is on the dim side, and the music in the background plays softly to fill any quiet moments with the tone they want to convey, but never discourages conversation with those at your table. The decorations inside are on point and convey the same warm tone, and make you feel like you’re in an upscale place, but that you fit in there and are welcome to join in on the dinner time festivities.

We started off in the bar waiting for our table.  Our reservation was not for another 20 minutes.  When they told us our table was ready we decided to stay in the bar and eat at a high top table. Nicole was the bartender and she was awesome.  Nicole was telling us all about the dishes she loved and made some great recommendations on wine.

There are so many delicious options, and i recommend you try as many as possible.  We were out with some friends tonight and enjoyed some great dishes.  The Ahi Tuna Sashimi is seared with pickled ginger and served with light soy sauce and wasabi. The Shrimp Al Greco is sautéed with garlic, tomatoes, white wine, black olives, feta cheese and lemon butter, served over almond crusted eggplant with garlic mashed potatoes. The Grilled Filet of Salmon is brushed with some sort of Asian barbecue glaze and toasted sesame, served with wasabi remoulade and whipped Idaho potatoes. The Rodeo Steak cut from the coulade had an excellent flavor and was very lean. All of the portions were impressive, and enough to fill you up on their own. The food came out exactly as we ordered it, and must have been served right off the grill for how hot and delicious it all was.

The dinners are all served with a Caesar salad, hot baked bread and herb olive oil, fresh vegetables, and your choice of garlic mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes laced with maple syrup and zest of orange, baked potato or French fries. I dare you to pick anything i mentioned above and tell me you went wrong. The staff is all very wonderful and helpful, but really E&E is one of those rare dining experiences that’s so worth it, that you can close your eyes and point to an item on the menu, and you won’t be disappointed.
